The market is proving to be stubborn in acknowledging the scale of the problem, but the bad actors are showing no restraint in using API security weakness to their advantage.
My number one advice going into 2024 is to stop trusting that your APIs are secure and start asking the hard questions about how exposed your organization currently is to API key theft, API transactional fraud and authorization level exploits. Until you get curious enough to start digging, APIs will remain your greatest unmitigated risk in 2024.”
